11.04kW Solar + 32.24kWh Battery Installation in Sandy Bay

Iconic Energy installed a three-phase solar and storage system at a home high above the Derwent in Sandy Bay, combining an 11.04kW array of AIKO panels with a Sigenergy 25kW three-phase energy controller and 32.24kWh of battery storage.

Working with the roof you have
Twenty-three AIKO 480W panels give an 11.04kW array. The roof here steps across several levels, so the panels are laid in runs that follow those planes rather than forced into one block.
How many panels a roof will take is usually the first constraint on system size, ahead of budget. Our guide to what size solar system you need works through the trade-off.
Storage on a three-phase supply
The system runs through a Sigenergy 25kW three-phase energy controller with 32.24kWh of storage across four Sigenergy 8.06kWh battery modules, installed indoors.
An energy controller rated well above the array is doing more than converting DC to AC: on a three-phase site it is managing the battery, the solar and the property's phases together. Solar batteries in Hobart covers how we size storage against usage.
