Why commercial roofs suit solar
A commercial unit like this one has two things a house usually does not: a large, uninterrupted roof, and a load that runs during daylight hours. That combination is what makes commercial solar work, because electricity generated on site is used on site rather than exported.
Forty-four Jinko 510W panels give a 22.44kW array, laid out in rows across the roof and worked around the existing plant.
Inverter and installation
The array runs through a 29.9kW GoodWe inverter installed inside the unit, with the PV isolator alongside it. Mounting the inverter indoors keeps it out of weather and puts it somewhere accessible for service without roof access.
Commercial work has different requirements from residential, both in the electrical design and in how the installation is carried out around an operating business. Our commercial electrical page covers that side of what we do.

Solar for a commercial site?
The case for commercial solar rests on your daytime load, your roof and your tariff, which is a site-specific calculation rather than a rule of thumb. See commercial electrical and solar panel installation, then book a site assessment.
